Carl Hoefkens scored in injury time to give Belgium a 3-3 draw against Turkey on Wednesday. This extended coach Rene Vandereycken's unbeaten run to four games. In a match between two teams which failed to make the World Cup finals, Turkey often had the better of play. The team led 2-0 after 27 minutes on goals by Necati Ates and Hasan Kabze. Belgium replied a minute later on an own-goal by Ibrahim Toraman and equalised two minutes before halftime on a header by Wesley Sonck. Tuncay Sanli restored Turkey's lead in the 75th minute but Hoefkens headed in the equaliser to deadlock the match. Both teams used the friendly to experiment with new players in preparation for the August start of qualifying for the 2008 European Championship. (AP)
