Belgium defeated Netherlands 1-0 in a warm-up game leading to the Euro 2004 tournament.

Eindhoven:

Dutch preparations for the upcoming Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal were dealt a blow on Saturday when they were beaten 1-0 at home by local rivals Belgium. A 78th minute penalty from Bart Goor settled the result, handing the Netherlands their first defeat since qualification for the competition. This was Netherlands' penultimate warm-up game before Euro 2004. Dick Advocaat's side have just one more match - against Ireland - on June 5 before they take on Germany in Group D of the competition itself on June 12th. (AP)
