They've had the odd problem in the Bundesliga this season, but Bayern Munich coach Felix Magath must be more than happy with the progress of his charges in the Champions League.
Three wins out of three - and on Tuesday, they face Sporting Lisbon, having won in Portugal only recently, Bastian Schweinsteiger scoring the only goal.
"We remember this team (Sporting) very well as we played against them just two weeks ago. So we should be aware of the team's strength and weaknesses and I hope that will be an advantage tomorrow," said Felix Magath, Bayern Munich coach.
Since losing to Juventus in the 2004/05 group stage, Bayern have put together a run of seven wins and a draw in the subsequent eight home fixtures.
The last came on match-day one when they put four goals past Spartak Moscow without reply.
Impressive yes - but Bayern can't be accused of over-confidence.
Magath is taking nothing for granted.
"There is a big difference between a home game and an away match. So it will be a totally different challenge. In Lisbon Sporting was very offensive and trying to win the match. But here I expect them to be more careful," said Magath.
Lukas Podolski will be missing as a result of injury. But strike partner Roy Makaay is back on form as Bayern aim to clinch qualification for the next round. (AP)
