Barcelona moved into second place in the Spanish Primera Liga standings on Thursday night after they beat Real Zaragoza 4-1. Visitors Zaragoza took the lead against the run of play through David Villa's long-range effort. But a goal in each half from Samuel Eto'o and further strikes from Xavi and substitute Giovanni van Bronckhorst handed Barcelona their third win in four games. The resounding victory lifted unbeaten Barcelona above Real Madrid into second place in the league standings. The Catalan giants sit level on points with champions and league leaders Valencia.
