Barcelona thrash Malaga 5-1

Barcelona:

Barcelona took the lead against Malaga after just two minutes in their Spanish Primera Liga clash as Philip Cocu found the back of the net. Barcelona went into the break 3-0 ahead after a goal by Saviola and a spot kick conversion by Patrick Kluivert. Malaga managed to score one goal. But that was all they were allowed as Barcelona went on a rampage. Kluivert finished off with his second hat trick of the season as Barcelona thrashed Malaga 5-1. Meanwhile, Real Madrid registered their first away win in the La Liga since December 8. Raul scored the only goal in the 82nd minute against Celta Vigo. That win means Madrid keep the pressure on league leaders Valencia, who are a point ahead after they beat Real Zaragoza 1-0. Deportivo are in third place after they beat Sevilla 1-0. Barcelona are in fourth place on goal difference.
