London:

Australia and Ghana played out a riveting 1-1 draw in their friendly at Loftus Road in London on Tuesday. John Aloisi's penalty gave the Socceroos the lead and they would have been further ahead at the break had it not been for the heroics of Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingston. The Black Stars had the better of the second half and Junior Agogo's first international goal after a mistake by Middlesbrough keeper Mark Schwarzer earned them a deserved draw. (AP)
