Arsenal beat Blackburn 3-0 on Wednesday to set an all-time league record sequence of 43 unbeaten matches.

Arsenal beat Blackburn 3-0 on Wednesday to set an all-time league record sequence of 43 unbeaten matches. The win was set up five minutes into the second half as Dennis Bergkamp's clipped cross was steered in by Thierry Henry. The scoreline also sent Arsene Wenger's side back to the top of the Premiership ahead of Chelsea on goal difference. Arsenal has now eclipsed Nottingham Forest's 42-match unbeaten record set between November 20th, 1977 and December 9th, 1978.
