Turin:

Arsenal advanced to the Champions League semifinals for the first time on Wednesday following a 0-0 draw with Juventus. The Gunners advanced 2-0 on aggregate after Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry scored in the first leg at Highbury last week. Arsenal will meet Spanish club Villarreal in the semifinals on April 19 and 25.Juventus, already missing the suspended Patrick Vieira, Mauro Camoranesi and Jonathan Zebina, and without injured captain Alessandro Del Piero, had Pavel Nedved sent off in the 77th minute. The Czech Republic midfielder picked up a second yellow card for a foul on Gunners defender Emmanuel Eboue at the Stadio Delle Alpi. Juve had Zebina and Camoranesi ejected in the first leg.Arsenal started well and only tackles by Juve's Robert Kovac in the 10th stopped two opportunities.Juventus defender Gianluca Zambrotta missed with a shot five minutes later, while Henry had a shot saved by Juve No. 1 Gianluigi Buffon at the other end.Giorgio Chiellini, Zambrotta and David Trezeguet had chances to test Arsenal 'keeper Jens Lehmann.Juventus had a goal from Trezeguet disallowed in the 32nd when he tapped in a pass from Nedved because the midfielder was ruled offside.Arsenal forward Jose Antonio Reyes was booked in the 38th for time-wasting and will be suspended for the first leg of the semifinals. In the 49th, Buffon dived bravely at the feet of Henry to deny the France striker. The Juve No. 1 made another one-on-one save in the 64th when he blocked Fabregas' shot on a counterattack.Juve coach Fabio Capello added another striker when he brought on Marcelo Zalayeta for Adrian Mutu in the 61st, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic's bouncing shot tested Lehmann in the 68th.A minute later, the Germany 'keeper blocked a powerful drive by Nedved.Arsenal has now gone a record eight straight Champions League games without conceding a goal, beating AC Milan's mark from last season.
