Barcelona:

Argentina beat the Catalunya 'national' team 3-0 in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday evening. The Nou Camp in Barcelona played host to the annual fixture. The team is not officially recognised as Catalunya is not recognised as a separate nation from Spain. The home side, though, were slow out of the blocks. Within 59 seconds Argentina had taken the lead. Lionel Scaloni opened the scoring, before second half goals from substitute Maxi Rodriguez and Galletti sealed a comfortable victory for the South Americans. (AP)
