Madrid:

Alaves midfielder Jordi Cruyff will be out of action for the next three weeks with a sprained left ankle, according to news reports. Cruyff, the son of Dutch soccer legend Johan, sustained the injury last week during his team's 2-1 away victory over Turkish side Ankaragucu in a first-round, first-leg UEFA Cup match. The Dutch international, who previously played for FC Barcelona and Manchester United, is expected to miss the return leg as well as Alaves' league matches with Deportivo de La Coruna and Real Madrid.
