New Delhi:

There is a crisis situation in the National Football League with Goan club Fransa threatening to pull out over a controversial refereeing decision. However, the AIFF or the All India Football Federation has asked Fransa to rejoin the league or else face disciplinary action. The club has been given till 5:00 pm (IST) tomorrow to respond. Fransa had alleged that two controversial penalty decisions during this game against Mahindras had resulted in them losing this game. Club president Mickey Pacheco had asked for a reply from the AIFF and demanded that the match be replayed. After failing to hear from the AIFF, he subsequently asked his club to refuse to play its next match against Air India. The AIFF is confident that Fransa will rejoin the league but the club president told NDTV on the phone that his club will refuse to relent unless they are given an assurance that the match will be replayed.
