Will he or won't he move from Manchester United? He's been linked to Spanish and Italian football giants. Now AC Milan President and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has denied reports that he is hoping to sign England captain David Beckham. Beckham may not be on AC Milan's shopping list, but the England captain is reportedly being chased by the rest of European football's elite. Berlusconi claimed on Monday that Beckham does not fit into his plans and that he certainly could not fit into AC Milan's current budget. English champions Manchester United are reportedly seeking a fee of around 35 million pounds for the 28-year-old midfielder - a price tag that only the richest of clubs could hope to afford. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are amongst the list of clubs reportedly bidding for Beckham. Meanwhile, away from all the hype, Beckham is holidaying in the US as he's suspended for England's Euro 2004 qualifying match against Slovakia.Topics mentioned in this article
