Warsaw:

Henin-Hardenne beat her unseeded Ukrainian opponent 6-1 6-3 in just over an hour. This was Henin-Hardenne's 32nd career title, and her third this year.

The Belgian has also reached the final in four of the five tournaments she's played this year. But Bondarenko's good showing here means she will now move up from 40th to 29th in the WTA Rankings.

And after that game, Henin-Hardenne paid tribute to fellow Belgian Kim Clijsters, who retired on Sunday.
