Indore:

India pace spearhead Zaheer Khan and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh opted out of the practice session ahead of tomorrow's second one-dayer against England to rest their tired bodies.

"The nets were optional and they wanted to rest as they felt it would be better for their tired bodies," said India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni after the team's practice session at the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium here.

Also missing was Yuvraj Singh, who is recovering from his back problem despite which he slaughtered the England bowlers to make a match-winning 138 not out in the first One-Day International.

A final call on his inclusion for the match would be taken later, Dhoni said.

However, injured pacer Ishant Sharma, who is recuperating from an ankle strain and is set to miss the second successive match of the series, was present at the nets.

Ishant has been given more time to recover from his injury, Dhoni said.
