Chandigarh:
Before the 4th ODI vs Australia on Monday, Yuvraj Singh drove around his hometown Chandigarh in a flashy yellow BMW convertible sports car.
After his heroics in the Twenty20 World Cup, BCCI 's vice president Lalit Modi gifted him a Porsche but the Prince of Punjab has got another one to flaunt around too.
Before the all-crucial Chandigarh match he is trying to release some of his pressure by driving this sports car and meeting some of his old friends.
Yuvraj of course is enjoying all the adulation and attention on his first visit to Chandigarh after the Twenty20 World Cup. His dream of playing and ODI on a ground where he learnt his first cricketing lesson also set to come true on Monday.
"It feels good, it's nice. Obviously it's my hometown so it nice to be here and nice to be in my ground," said Yuvraj Singh, Vice Captain, Indian ODI Team.
Besides his numerous fan following there was someone else too who was early waiting for him - his father and his coach Yograj. His father himself prepared a bunch of roses for him.
"Preparing something for my son was really special," said Yograj Singh, Father of Yuvraj Singh. "It is a thing of love. You get some many ready made things in the market but preparing myself for some one who is dear to my heart it is a different feeling," he added.
After a superb century in Hyderabad on Friday, homecoming is surely quite relaxing for Yuvraj.
The local fans are now eagerly awaiting more fireworks from his bat in the crucial encounter vs the Aussies on Monday.
