New Delhi: Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh held a cricket camp in Delhi's Nehru Stadium on Saturday. The flamboyant left-hander was an active spectator as his team Yuvraj-15 took on Kapil-15, a match that reminded him of his days as a kid in Chandigarh."When we were kids, Sachin and Kapil used to come to coaching camps and there used to be a lot of excitement among the kids. I am sure these kids are feeling the same today," said Yuvraj.Cherished momentThe kids were excited to find their hero amongst them. It was a moment, perhaps many of them will cherish for the rest of their lifetime."It is a great experience meeting Yuvraj. I even scored some runs and it has been wonderful," said a participant."Yuvraj is my hero and I want to be an even better cricketer than him and play for India one day," said another participant.Yuvraj, however, isn't worried right now about the challenge he might face from the tiny tots. High noteAfter a three-month break, India resumes playing international cricket again with the start of tri-series in Sri Lanka later this month and the Chandigarh lad is hoping to start the new season on a high note."I have been training in the off-season. Our camp is starting in two days and we will train hard for 20 days, play practice matches in order to get ready for the coming season," he said. The new innovations in one-day cricket made by the International Cricket Council will not be tested in the Sri Lanka, giving plenty of time to the Indian team to adjust to the new rules.
