New Delhi:

Middle order batsman Mohammed Kaif justified his selection for the Chennai Test by batting resolutely to score his maiden Test half century. Kaif, playing his first Test in three years, put India in the driver's seat with his courageous innings. But with Sachin Tendulkar back in the nets and likely to be fit soon, it will be a choice between him or Yuvraj Singh to make way for the Bombay Bomber. "I am playing well at the moment and the Chennai innings will help me in future matches. When Sachin comes back, the team management will decide who will play. I cannot comment on that," said Kaif. Team selection apart, there will be a lot of pressure in the Indian squad. A win in the Nagpur Test becomes crucial for the Indian team as a draw will leave them with a chance to just level the series in Mumbai. "A win in Nagpur is crucial. If we go into the Mumbai Test 1-1 in the series. It will be an interesting match even for the fans to watch," said Kaif. However if past records are anything to go by, then India might find it hard to force a win in Nagpur, where four of the total of seven Tests have ended in draws.
