Edgbaston: England captain Michael Vaughan warned Australia that all plans of theirs could come to a naught if Andrew Flintoff plays as well as he has done of late for his team. "He is in full control of his game and can play in all conditions if he is in top of his game, he is a match-winner," remarked Vaughan on Flintoff whom Australia would try to contain in the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy here tomorrow. Flintoff has been in irresistible form this summer, scoring three hundreds and a 99 from seven of his one-day innings in an average in excess of 100 per innings. The powerful right-hander sunk Sri Lanka the other day with some magical batting at Rose Bowl and Vaughan feels Flintoff is not through yet. About his own form though Vaughan has some concerns and feel he needs to change his approach in one-day cricket. "The other day at Rose Bowl I played an expansive shot which I didn't need to do. But I feel okay with my form and have a decent record against Australia. I am confident I will be able to get some runs for the team. "However, we realise they beat New Zealand in the first 20 overs itself and are carrying a certain momentum," Vaughan said. But the England skipper did not believe the decision of his premier fast bowler Steve Harmison to skip Zimbabwe's tour in the winter could be a distraction for his team tomorrow. "It's an individual's decision and we respect it. The ECB has allowed individuals to make their own choices. I just hope he would be on top of his game tomorrow in the semi-finals. "He is an individual and could make a decision today, tomorrow or in the next week," he said.(PTI)
