Tendulkar to lead 'Mumbai Indians' in IPL

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was named captain of the Mukesh Ambani-owned Mumbai IPL team which has been christened "Mumbai Indians Team".

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was Saturday named captain of the Mukesh Ambani-owned Mumbai IPL team which has been christened "Mumbai Indians Team".

Sachin also unveiled the team logo which has the Sudarshan Chakra with the team's name engraved in it. The team's colour will be blue.

He said that it was a matter of "honour" to be a part of the Mumbai Indians Team.

The DLF-IPL Mumbai team was officially unveiled at a glittering function with the tournament scheduled to start on April 18.
