The National Selection Committee has announced an unchanged squad for the next two Tests to be played in Delhi and Nagpur against Australia.

The members of the National Selection Committee have announced an unchanged squad for the next two Tests to be played in Delhi and Nagpur against Australia.

Chairman of the selection committee, Krishnamachari Srikkanth and his colleagues - Yashpal Sharma, Narendra Hirwani, Surendra Bhave and Raja Venkat - met in Mohali on Monday.

A press release issued by BCCI secretary N Srinivasan said that leg spinner Amit Mishra will stay back with the team and he will be replaced by Delhi spinner Chitanya Nanda in the Challenger Series to be held in Cuttack.

Mishra, who made a dream Test debut by scalping five wickets in the first innings of the second Test, was originally named in the India Blue team in the Challenger Series to be held from October 23 to 26.

The third Test starts in Delhi from October 29 while the last Test will be played in Nagpur from November 6.

Indian squad: Anil Kumble (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra, R P Singh, S Badrinath, Munaf Patel.
