Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming who was sacked as Test captain on Tuesday has now quit one day international game.

New Delhi:

Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming who was sacked as Test captain on Tuesday has now quit one day international game.

Fleming had stepped down as one day captain after the world cup.

Daniel Vettori who replaced Fleming as the Test captain will also captain in one dayers. Currently, he is captaining the New Zealand team at the Twenty20 World Cup.

Fleming who has been captain for the last 10 years has said that he is available to play Test cricket but that seems unlikely as well.

He seems out of favour with the selectors and his links to the Indian Cricket League don't seem to have helped either.
