Dambulla will only host the first one-dayer when India tour Sri Lanka for a five-match series later this month, according to the revised itinerary.

Dambulla will only host the first one-dayer when India tour Sri Lanka for a five-match series later this month, according to the revised itinerary issued by the Sri Lanka Cricket on Thursday.

Rangiri International Stadium in Dambulla was given the hosting rights of two ODIs in the previous itinerary but as in the new schedule India will take on the hosts in Dambulla in the opener on January 28, an SLC release said. It will be followed by three day-night clashes at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo while the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in the city will host the fifth and last ODI of the series.

The teams will also play a day-night Twenty20 match, which will be held in the Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

Revised itinerary:

Jan 26: Arrival of the Indian team

Jan 28: 1st ODI in Dambulla

Jan 31: 2nd ODI in Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (D/N)

Feb 03: 3rd ODI in Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (D/N)

Feb 05: 4th ODI in Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (D/N)

Feb 08: 5th ODI in SSC, Colombo

Feb 10: Twenty20 in Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (D/N).
