Siddle added to Aussie squad for remainder of NZ ODI series

Pacer Peter Siddle was added to the Australian squad for the remaining two one-dayers against New Zealand while Ryan Harris and David Warner were released.

Pacer Peter Siddle was on Sunday added to the Australian squad for the remaining two one-dayers against New Zealand while Ryan Harris and David Warner were released.

"The National Selection Panel today announced that Peter Siddle has been added to the Australia squad for the final two matches of the Commonwealth Bank Series against New Zealand," Cricket Australia said in a statement.

"Ryan Harris and David Warner have both been released from the Australia squad and will return to State duties," the statement read.

The 24-year-old Siddle has not yet made his ODI debut. Australia trail the five-match series 1-2.
