Shoaib may face ban for life

Reports are coming from Pakistan that the bowler could be facing a life ban, following his refusal to respond to show cause notices sent by the PCB.

The career of colourful Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar can now take a new twist and this might probably be a final one.

Reports are coming from Pakistan that the bowler could be facing a life ban, following his refusal to respond to show cause notices sent by the Pakistan Cricket Board, pertaining to alleged misconduct.

Shoaib told reporters during a pentangular cup match that as he was not a contracted player, therefore, he was not bound to respond to legal notices.

Shoaib is still on probation and if found guilty of misconduct, he could face a life ban.
