Shoaib apologises to nation, PCB

Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has sought unconditional apology from the nation and Pakistan Cricket Board.

New Delhi:

Shoaib Akhtar has apologised to the Pakistan Cricket Board and the general public at a hearing on Monday to appeal his five-year ban from domestic and international matches.

Talking to media after appearing before Appellate Tribunal here on Monday, Shoaib said: "I apologise to the nation and the PCB."

Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar registered his statement before the Tribunal in National Cricket Academy.

The next hearing of the tribunal will be held Wednesday.
