Self-belief and team effort were the key factors in India's second Under-19 Cricket World Cup triumph, captain Virat Kohli said on Sunday.

India defeated South Africa by 12 runs in a sensational final at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur and a charged up Kohli could not find words to describe the feat.

"I don't have any words now. I can't say anything. It is absolutely wonderful to win the cup after a long while," said Kohli.

"We had belief in ourselves and we played as a unit and we have won. I can't say any more," Kohli said during the presentation before accepting the winners' trophy from ICC President Ray Mali.
