The lower order tried their best to get an inch closer but were always away from it. The new bowling unit with help from the likes of Malinga and Kulasekara made it a tough task for the chasing side. The contest got to the final over as the lower order did some late firing. As we said, they kept losing wickets and were running themselves out of the contest.
