Martin Guptill is adjudged the Man of the Match for his superb knock. That's all we have from this match. The fifth ODI is on 8th January at Hamilton. Until next time, it's good bye and cheers!!!
It was yet another powerful performance by the Kiwis. Their top-order, led by Guptill's magnificent knock of 81 fared well and posted a challenging total on the board. In reply, West Indies got off to a poor start and from there on struggled. The third wicket stand tried to keep them on track but once it was dislodged, West Indies succumbed. Dwayne Bravo tried his best but they were always behind the asking rate and then the rain intervened.
Right then, folks! The rain has the final say as the umpires have decided to surrender and call it quits. NEW ZEALAND HAVE WON BY 58 RUNS (D/L Method)! They now have taken an unassailable 2-1 lead in the series.
It has started to rain out there and the covers are on. Stay tuned for further updates...

West Indies are struggling big time in the chase with their top-order batsmen back in the pavilion. Skipper Dwayne Bravo is their last hope and he currently is trying his best to keep the chase on track. Denesh Ramdin is the last recognized batsman with him and West Indies hopes are relying on this partnership. New Zealand well in sight on taking an unassailable 2-1 lead.
