That wraps up the formalities for this series. New Zealand have regained the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy by winning it 2-0. The Kiwis will now next host the South Africans, which begins on the 17th of February with the T20I. While, the Aussies now head back to their country to host the Sri Lankans for a 3-match T20I series which begins on the same day. Until then, it's goodbye from us.
TRENT BOULT is awarded the MAN OF THE MATCH for his exceptional performance with the ball as he kept troubling the Australian batsmen throughout. He also finished with his career best figures of 10-1-33-6!
Earlier in the day, the Black Caps would have been disappointed with the way they ended with the bat after such a positive start. Taylor did all the talking with the bat with the help of some support from Brownlie who came into the side after a lay off of two years. Faulkner was the pick of the bowlers for Australia as he picked important wickets to stop the run flow. It was a good game of cricket with even contest between the bat and the ball. The visitors will be gutted as it's their seventh loss in a row away from home.
Australia had a rocky beginning as both the openers were struggling out there in the middle. Finch and Head got starts but could not capitalise on it. Stoinis also tried his best but was countered by spin. Starc and Cummins kept them in the game but there was Boult who had different plans altogether. He kept on rattling through the defences as he finished with his career best figures of 10-1-33-6. Santner also bowled well with the skipper chipping in with the crucial wicket of Finch.
NZ WIN THE CHAPPELL-HADLEE SERIES 2-0! Another enthralling game of cricket which kept shifting momentum. It was never too certain which team would have the last laugh. There is one player who stood out in between both the teams and that was the World's No.1 ODI bowler - Trent Boult! Take a bow! We were lucky to witness one of the best bowling performances.

UPDATE AT 45 OVERS, TARGET - 282, AUS 250/8 - This game is looking like a swing. It's swinging the other way every other ball. Starc and Cummins were chasing the target really well till Boult again came to the rescue of the hosts. With only an over left for Boult, it will be interesting to see who has the last laugh. Will Starc guide his team to victory or will Boult ruin his party?
