Virat Kohli is adjudged the Man of the Match for his fantastic batting. Says that he figured out early that on this wicket the key was to bat with a straight bat. Adds that it's always nice to bat with Rohit and he batted very well. Praises the crowd for the support but also adds that it was pretty humid out there and they had to keep themselves hydrated.
Indian captain, MS Dhoni says that it was a fantastic show and it would have been even better had one of the batters scored a hundred. He praises his spinners for bowling nicely and admits that the wicket was on the slower side and it was not easy to score runs. He is satisfied with the batting effort and applauds Kohli for his knock. Praises the pair of Sharma and Kohli for negotiating the new ball very well.
West Indian skipper, Dwayne Bravo is disappointed with the performance. Says that the batters need to take the responsibility and praises India for bowling well. He feels that 260-270 would have been a challenging total. Also admits that they have to improve their batting.
India complete an easy win! Chasing a paltry target, the hosts lost the wicket of Dhawan cheaply but then Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli staged a 133-run stand and shut down every hope of West Indies for a comeback. Both the batsmen batted with confidence and made a complete mockery of the Windies attack.

Dropped short! Length delivery around off, Dhoni remains on the back foot and pushes inside the line. He ends up edging it behind and Charles stretches to his right to grab the catch. The bowler and the keeper appeal but the umpire is not sure whether it carried or not. The replays showed that it went on one bounce to the keeper.
