Although India lost the crucial toss, they batted well in the first innings. They lost early wickets however in the lights of Rohit, Raina and the captain Dhoni they took their score past 300. England got a good start and then lost it completely somewhere in the middle. Good all round cricket by India and they look more than satisfied after the win.
Mohammed Shami got the breakthrough for India by dismissing Cook and Bell in the same over. Later on when the spinners came in, England had no chance and they started to fell like a deck of cards. Jadeja was the star of bowling for India as he got four wickets, including the main wickets of Hales and Buttler.
Magnificent win for India. They take the lead in the series. England got off to a good start while chasing 295 from 47 overs. Cook and Hales got a 50-run opening stand but once Cook got out, they never looked in the chase. Wickets started falling apart for England and they lost their 10 wickets for 107 runs.
