Says that we have a lot of Test cricket coming up, so they will enjoy today and then prepare for the tour to West Indies. Adds that you will have tough times, but it is your character that stands out.

Hopes that the youngsters learn from this and do well when they tour again. Adds that the batsmen did not perform for them, the lower order covered the failure of the top order. Calls the wickets good ones, apart from the Lord's one. Credits the English bowlers for keeping their lines and bowling in the right areas. Says that it was tough dropping any of the top order batsmen to try any other combination. Admits they had enough time to prepare for the series and the first two Tests were good. Confesses that Bhuvi was tired but they did not have anyone to replace him. Says that they are lacking experience and that is not helping them compete better. !

JOE ROOT - MAN OF THE MATCH. He starts off saying that it is always nice to score runs and to finish how they have is good. Adds that Lord's was a tough one and is pleased that they showed character to come back. Mentions, the winter was difficult for him, now he is just looking to score rather than looking to just survive. Calls it just a start, as they look to get to be a top Test team.

!

England will be delighted with the series result, all looked doom and gloom for them after the defeat at the Lord's. But ever since the drop of Cook on 15 by Jadeja in the 3rd Test, India have gone down badly, putting no fight at all. It became embarrassing for India when their tail batted better than their top order in the last three Tests. Their star players did not perform in Pujara and Kohli. England got benefited from the poor cricket from India and the pair of James Anderson and Moeen Ali, yes Ali wrecked havoc for India

!

England inserted India in and bowled them out cheaply for 148. Dhoni was the lone warrior for India scoring 82 runs. England in their reply amassed 486 runs thanks to a magnificent unbeaten 149 from Root and half centuries from Cook and Ballance. The India bowlers did manage to break the middle order but the tail wagged with a handy knock from Broad. India were 9/2 at Lunch and they folded up for 94 with Jordan taking 4/18. Such was India's submission that they lasted just 29.2 overs. This was also their lowest score at The Oval yet again losing by an innings and 244 runs.

!

ENGLAND WIN THE SERIES 3-1! Well played, England! Well played! The crowd gives them a standing ovation and rightly so. They have turned the series around with some very good cricket and absolutely poor cricket from India. Not many would have expected India to win this series but the way India have capitulated was disappointing.
