The Sydney Cricket Ground will turn pink during the third Test between Australia and South Africa as a mark of support towards McGrath Cancer Foundation.

SCG to go pink to support McGrath Foundation

The Sydney Cricket Ground will turn pink during the third Test between Australia and South Africa as a mark of support towards McGrath Cancer Foundation.

The players' outfit will feature the hot pink of the McGrath Foundation and will also carry their initials in pink for the match.

After the end of first day's play in the Sydney Test, the signed shirts of the players will be given to the McGrath Foundation and any fan making a donation during the Test will stands a chance to win one of the shirts.

The ground signage and the stumps of the match will also be of pink.

To add to that, even the cricket portal for the match will turn pink for the duration of the Test. "Glenn McGrath often says only real men can wear pink, so you'll see a team full of real men running on to the SCG tomorrow!," McGrath Foundation ambassador Matthew Hayden said.

"Let's hope people watching and listening to the broadcast around the world get involved by supporting the McGrath Foundation at www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au and take the sweaty shirts off our backs, any size donation makes you eligible to win," he added.
