SA to open Test series in Chennai

The first Test between India and South Africa in the best-of-three series will be played in Chennai from March 26-30, 2008.

Mumbai:

The first Test between India and South Africa in the best-of-three series will be played in Chennai from March 26-30, the Cricket Board announced on Wednesday.

The second and third Tests will be held in Ahmedabad (April 3-7) and Kanpur (April 11-15).

The visitors would arrive in Mumbai on March 18 and will begin the 29-day tour with a thee-day fixture against India A at the Cricket Club of India's Brabourne Stadium from March 20 before taking on the hosts in the three-Test rubber.
