New Delhi:
"I am in favour of the game's improvement. But one has to see whether cricket is their priority or business. If they want to better the game, they should look at areas like Test cricket where technique is involved. Why are they taking shortcuts," said Pawar.
His comments came a day after the BCCI-India Cricket League battle took a political turn with Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh urging Pawar to relax his hard stance and allow development of the game.
The BCCI chief added that players would not be banned if they joined the ICL. It seems that with criticism from various quarters, the BCCI's stance towards the ICL has mellowed down.
