The Pakistan captain would undergo the test before Friday's match against Bangladesh.

Karachi:

Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik will undergo a fitness test in the morning before their crucial Asia Cup match against Bangladesh here on Friday.

Malik missed Pakistan's last game against India due to dehydration and weakness. He collapsed on the field during a short fitness test ahead of the match.

Doctors have even put Malik on drips to allow him to recover from his weak condition.

Middle-order batsman Misbah-ul-Haq led the side in place of Malik against India and besides scoring runs also handled the pressure and bowlers well.
