So that is it from this game. The South Africans have bounced back and levelled the series. There are still another 3 games to play with the next one taking place on the 25th of January 0100 local (1100 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye.
South African skipper, Faf du Plessis, says it was the perfect opportunity for two youngsters to learn a lot and they rose to the occasion. Mentions the wicket was not the best as it was two paced. Credits the way Hasan Ali played. Also appreciates how Phehlukwayo and van der Dusen played. Reckons he has all the skills to be a top level player and that is exactly what they are looking for. He hopes for a pacey wicket in the next game. Further adds Dale who was rested in the next game might be back.
Man of the Match, Andile Phehlukwayo, says the wicket had something in it and he tried to hit the right lines and lengths. Mentions he was nervous to begin with when he came out to bat but Rassie calmed him down. Further adds he then stuck to his plans and it all came out well. Ends by saying he enjoyed the battle with Shadab.
Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed, says they did not get a good start as they gave away too many soft wickets. Mentions Hasan Ali's knock gave them some hope. Admits they had a chance when South Africa were 80 for 5 but they failed to capitalize. Credits the way Phehlukwayo and van der Dussen played.
Some things to work on, while some to be excited about for the hosts. Their bowling did well on the whole, with Phehlukwayo and Shamsi leading the charge, but they would have been disappointed having let Pakistan get even remotely close to 200, as they were 112/8 at one stage. Most of the batting line-up once again failed to turn up, but it seems they've found a gem in Rassie van der Dussen who can fill the big void in the South African middle order. It was a close contest, right up till the point the Protea pair took things in their stride and saw the game off with ease.
This is what happens when the bowling has assistance on a surface. This was a low-scoring affair, but every bit as entertaining as any high-chase thriller. Pakistan must have had mixed feelings throughout this one. A bittersweet feeling when they reached 203, but it could have been a lot less had it not been for Sarfraz and Hasan Ali's (who scored a brisk fifty) 90-run stand. And when they had the Proteas on the mat, 80/5 to be precise, courtesy a fiery opening spell from Afridi, they failed to capitalize as van der Dussen and Phehlukwayo took their side comfortably home. The duo added 127 runs between them, scoring fifties in the process.

FOUR! Yes, it does! Finishes it off in style does Rassie van der Dussen. He pumps his fist in delight after he pulls this short ball to the mid-wicket fence. All smiles in the South African camp as THEY WIN BY 5 WICKETS AND LEVEL THE SERIES 1-1!

High in the air but it's fallen safely. Tossed up on the stumps, Phehlukwayo charges out and lofts it high down the ground. Afridi from mid off tries to run back and catch it, but can't get to it. Difficult chance. A brace collected.
Powerplay 3 has been signaled! Now five players can be placed outside the ring till the 50th over. However, we do not think the game will last till then. Also, Shadab comes back into the attack.

Such a powerful hit but it didn't go all the way. Didn't even touch the rope in fact. Back of a length on off, Phehlukwayo takes the pull on and clears the infield over mid-wicket. It falls inside the rope and stops due to the heavy outfield. Two runs taken.
