Karachi:

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ejaz Butt on Monday said the PCB has not yet agreed to split the tour by Sri lanka into two halves which would help the island nation accomodate an ODI series against India.

"There is no doubt they are coming. Breaking the tour into two halves is not final as yet and the Sri Lankans have to send us an approved itinerary," Butt said.

Sri Lankan officials are working out a programme where they can first play five one-dayers and a twenty20 match against Pakistan and then go back home to face India in a one-day series.

The Lankans will then return to Pakistan for a three-Test series.

Butt also rubbished reports that Pakistan would play an April-May one-day series against Australia in Malaysia.

"The PCB and myself have not had any discussions with the Australians on playing the coming one-day series in Malaysia. Neither did I visit any such proposed venues," Butt said.

He made it clear that Pakistan's priority remained hosting the Australian team at home for the five One-Day Internationals and a Twenty20 match.

"The priority is that Australia tours Pakistan and they have also conveyed to us they would like to play the series in Pakistan as they have not visited Pakistan since 1998," Butt said.
