Upul Chandana took four Australian wickets and the home side lost five overall in the first session today, as Sri Lanka hit back on the second morning of the second cricket test. Resuming at 370-2, Australia was 474-7 at lunch today, putting on 104 runs but first losing the wickets of opener Justin Langer for 162 and Damien Martyn, out lbw on 97. Australia also lost Darren Lehmann (50), Simon Katich, bowled by Chandana for one, and Shane Warne, who was out just before lunch when caught by Thilan Samaraweera off Chandana's bowling. Lunch was taken three balls early when Warne fell, leaving Adam Gilchrist not out five at the break. Chandana is 4-94 in 22.2 overs, including 4-21 on today morning, while Lasith Malinga is 2-121 overall. Openers Langer and Matthew Hayden each scored their 19th career centuries after the first day yesterday. Langer and Hayden delivered their sixth double-century stand for the first wicket when they posted 255. After being asked to bat, Australia made a mockery of Marvan Atapattu's decision to field first. Australia won the first test in Darwin last weekend by 149 runs. (AP)
