Kings XI need to perform better

Mohali:

Delhi Daredevils skipper Virender Sehwag said his team has to put up a better show to beat Yuvraj Singh led Kings XI Punjab when they face them in their IPL match at the PCA stadium here on Sunday.

"Kings XI is a good side and they did well in couple of games. For us, every match is challenging and we will have to put up a better performance," Sehwag said at a joint press conference along with rival skipper Yuvraj Singh.

Delhi are unbeaten in the tournament and have two comprehensive nine-wicket wins behind them.

Yuvraj, on being asked if they had any plans to contain Sehwag said, "We have got some plans for him. But I feel every team has its own plans, but whosoever manages to execute them at the right time is the one who finishes on top."

The Punjab team coach Tom Moody said his team was high on confidence after last night's win over Mumbai Indians.

Asked if their right-arm pacer Sreesanth was feeling okay after last night's unsavoury incident involving him and Harbhajan Singh, he said, "Sree is fine". Everybody is concentrating on tomorrow's match."
