Mumbai:

With a strong batting line-up, the Indian team would be dangerous in the upcoming series and reverse swing will be a major factor, England fast bowler Stuart Broad said on Saturday.

"The Indian batting line-up is dangerous and it will be a great challenge to play against them at their home turf," Broad said.

The absence of master batsman Sachin Tendulkar for three of the seven ODIs would be a bonus for the England team, he said.

However, England opener Ian Bell felt that the visitors have experienced bowlers like Steve Harmison and Andrew Flintoff in their line-up, so it would be important for the batsman to put runs on the board.

"We have one of the best bowling attacks in the world so we need to put runs on the board," Bell said.

When asked about the Indian bowling line-up, Bell said, "The Indian bowling is looking very good and we will need to play really good cricket. Zaheer Khan is the most skillful bowler in the Indian lineup."

Speaking about Kevin Pietersen as captain, Bell said, "Kevin has had a very good start as a captain and sets the example. Kevin wants us to go out and play aggressive cricket."

England spinner Graeme Swann, who is in his first tour of India, said he was very excited to be playing here.

"We will need to win the first few games to get the momentum," Swann said, adding that they had studied Indian batsmen and were prepared for them.

"We have a great analysis team who have stored data on the last six months performance of the Indian team. We know that Indian batsmen play spin very well and we know what to expect," the spinner said.
