IPL: Royals to take on Kings

Jaipur:

It will be Hollywood vs Bollywood today. Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royal's take on Preity Zinta's Kings XI later this evening.

Both the teams lost their opening ties, and so both have something to prove. Jaipur in particular have some work to do with many believing that its one of the weakest squads in the league.

Despite the Hussey heroics that wiped out her team, the smile on Preity's face has not faded and she's looking for a turn-around.

"Well you win some and lose some my friend, a league is not won on the basis of one match, but on a series of good performances. I think it will teach us more. It will teach us to be stronger and fight better," said Preity Zinta, Owner, Kings XI Punjab.

Zinta's Mohali team will be up against a Rajasthan team that will get plenty of support from Ila Arun. The well-known singer from Rajasthan is hoping her halla bol anthem will galvanise the royals.

But as far as cricket goes, both King's XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals will be out to prove that their opening losses are not going to be indicative of how their tournament goes.

"You are going to get some good games and some bad ones. The idea is that you take the good with the bad. We have 14 games, right now we do not have three internationals. Give us a couple of games and we shall be back there," said Shane Warne, Captain & Coach, Rajasthan Royals.

No doubt Warne needs his international players to arrive quickly and some luck to avoid these kind of dismissals. The first problem will of course be sorted when the likes of Graeme Smith & Younis Khan arrive.
