The BCCI platinum jubilee ODI match between India and Pakistan has been advanced by a day and it would now be held on November 13.

Kolkata: The BCCI platinum jubilee one-day cricket match between India and Pakistan has been advanced by a day and it would now be held on November 13 at the Eden Gardens here. Announcing this here, Cricket Board president Jagmohan Dalmiya today said the change was made after Kolkata police authorities raised "genuine concern" over the original schedule of the match. The match was originally scheduled to be held on November 14 but the police had express concern over this date on account of the Kali Puja and Diwali. The match could not have been postponed as Eid festival is on November 15 and 16. Following a discussion with the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Shaharyar Khan the alternative date for the match was agreed upon as November 13. "Subsequently, I had a discussion with the Kolkata Police authorities and though there may be some difficulties, they too have accorded their consent," Dalmiya said. (PTI)
