Indo-Pak cricketers ready for battle
Current and former cricket stars from India and Pakistan will meet in a festival match in Patiala on Thursday.

The current and former cricket stars from India and Pakistan would give a glimpse of what is in store for fans of both the countries over the next two months as they meet in a festival match on Thursday. The match, part of the ongoing Patiala Heritage Festival, will be played between the Chief Minister's XI from the two Punjab states in India and Pakistan. The Indian side would be led by legendary Kapil Dev and may have current and former internationals like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Mohinder Amarnath, Ajay Jadeja, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Dinesh Mongia, Ajay Ratra, Sanjay Bangar and Aakash Chopra. Reetinder Singh Sodhi, Pankaj Dharmani and Binwan Singh are also part of the team. The Pakistan Punjab CM's XI would include players like Saeed Anwar, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ijaz ahmed, Salim Elahi and Taufiq Umar. The Pakistan cricketers arrived through the Wagah border today.
