The BCCI has rejected as false, media reports claiming it had suspended its team's tour of Australia until the outcome of an appeal against a three-match suspension of spinner Harbhajan Singh.

There has been speculation over the future of the tour but no official decision has been made yet. "As of now the tour is on," India's assistant manager MV Sridhar told mediapersons. "We will await instructions from the BCCI."

The BCCI also ordered the team to remain in Sydney for the time being.
