India beat Sri Lanka by 56 runs to reach the semifinal of the Under-19 cricket World Cup in Dhaka.

India beat Sri Lanka by 56 runs to reach the semifinal of the Under-19 cricket World Cup in Dhaka. In their last match of the Super League, India set the Lankans a target of 317 runs. After losing three wickets for 39 runs, India made a remarkable recovery to make 316 for five in 50 overs. India's hero was Shikhar Dhawan who made 146, which is third century of the tournament. Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik was however the one who helped India post a mammoth total. He made an unbeaten 70 off just 39 balls. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 260 in 46 overs. Pakistan, England and West Indies have already qualified for the semifinals.
