The Indian and Australian teams arrived in Chennai on Monday night ahead of the second test match.

The Indian and Australian teams arrived in Chennai on Monday night ahead of the second test match. None of the players were willing to talk to the media or oblige autograph seekers. Sourav Ganguly, who arrived in the city in the morning, visited the Chepauk ground to assess the pitch. The teams are slated to practice at the nets on Tuesday. The second Test will begin on Thursday. Key players of both the teams have quite a few events lined up. Sachin Tendulkar will be shooting for a documentary being made by Mani Ratnam on disability, while Adam Gilchrist is set interact with HIV positive children.
