Timely knock of 63 by I Khaleel from 47 balls helped India XI to defeat Pakistan XI by four wickets in the ICL 20s World Series at Lal Bahadur Stadium on Friday.

Khaleel's 63 from 47 balls include eight fours.

At one stage, it seemed the game was in favour of ICL Pakistan XI, but Indian captian R Satish (29 not out) changed the scenario to India's side with some good strokes. The other batsmen who scored double figures are G Vignesh 18 and A A Jhunjhunwala 23.

Pakistani bowlers Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Sami and Arshad Khan took one wicket each. Earlier, Pakistan XI made 152 for the loss of eight wickets with the help of Imran Nazir's dashing 56 (six fours and two sixes) from 47 balls. The other valuable contributors are Abdul Razzaq (17), Taufeeq Umar (10), Hasan Raza (12) respectively.

Pakistani Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was out for seven runs. From the Indian bowling side T Kumaran and A Murtaza claimed two wickets each for 20 and 26 runs respectively, while J Syed Mohammed and STR Binny took one wicket each.
