Adelaide:

The ICC has issued statement on the John Hansen verdict and all the controversy surrounding the lack of information on Harbhajan Singh.

It statement said:

"It is unfortunate that human error led to Justice Hansen not getting the full history of ICC code of conduct breaches by Harbhajan, we accept responsibility for this. Players need to review their behaviour.

Harbhajan abused an opponent after being provoked by him. This is not acceptable behaviour on the cricket field.

I expect all players to use this as a wake up call. Other issues have arisen from this case and we will address them soon."
