Ganguly returns home for treatment

Injured Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly arrived back home today for treatment of his lower back injury.

Injured Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly arrived back home today for treatment of his lower back injury. The Indian captain, who was with the Indian team at Multan this morning when the team achieved the historic first Test win on Pakistani soil, however, did not make any comment. Ganguly, who drove straight to his residence in south Kolkata from the airport, will be examined by orthopaedic Kalyan Mukherjee at his home. Ganguly had suffered the back injury during the last match of the ODI series and had to miss the first Test match at Multan. He has also been ruled out of the second Test, beginning at Lahore on April 5. Ganguly is expected to join the team for the third and final Test at Rawalpindi on April 13. (PTI)
